Construction Industry Survey 2007

Statistics South Africa released its construction "large sample" survey in December 2008, which measures economic activity in the construction sector of the South African economy during 2007. This survey replaces the Census of Construction, last completed in 1994 (released in 1997) and will be conducted every three years. The survey is released in two separate reports, the first focussing on financial indicators and the second report - expected to be released during then next 3 months- will focus on key expenditure trends including expenditure on key materials.
